How We Help Increase Safety for Our Customers and Employees

Expanding on our Complete Clean Pledge® to increase safety measures for customers and employees, Enterprise is now a member of the Clorox® Safer Today Alliance, a coalition to help create healthier shared spaces now and into the future.

As a member of the Clorox® Safer Today Alliance, Enterprise receives ongoing support and scientific guidance around its enhanced safety measures from experts at the Cleveland Clinic and CDC Foundation.

Additionally, Enterprise is proud to offer a program with Clorox®, one of the most trusted brands for powerful cleaning, and implement near- and long-term enhancements to our Complete Clean Pledge.

We are providing a one-count Clorox Disinfecting Wipe in every vehicle to give you extra confidence during your test drive. The Clorox Disinfecting Wipes are approved by the EPA to kill SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, when used as directed on hard, non-porous surfaces. Each wipe includes directions for use and is accompanied by instructions to use it on the vehicle’s high-touch, hard non-porous surfaces.

We never stop looking for ways to enhance cleanliness and safety. In addition to being confident your vehicle is cleaned and sanitized between each test drive, you can also feel confident that we will take every opportunity to enhance the health and safety measures currently practiced in our operations.

Vehicles

Clean vehicles have always been important to us, but at this moment in time, we know vehicle cleanliness is even more critical.

Each of our vehicles is thoroughly cleaned between every test drive and backed with the Complete Clean Pledge. This includes vacuuming, general wipe down, and sanitizing with a disinfectant that meets leading heath authority requirements, with particular attention to more than 20-plus high-touch points including:

  • Key and key fob
  • Steering wheel
  • Steering column
  • Center console
  • Vents
  • Accessory panel/ touchscreen
  • Cupholders
  • Compartments
  • Door interior
  • Door pockets
  • Seat surfaces
  • Seat pockets
  • Seat belts
  • Interior Door handles
  • Exterior Door handles
  • Areas between seat/console
  • Areas between seat/doorjambs
  • Instrument panel and touchscreen
  • Rearview mirror/side mirrors

We also have measures in place to immediately isolate and quarantine any vehicle if needed.

Dealerships

The Complete Clean Pledge extends to our locations, as well.
We have introduced updated process and safety procedures for our dealerships. Our employees are following best practices recommended by leading health authorities, including frequently sanitizing touchable surfaces with disinfectant throughout the day. These include counter tops, phones, tablet devices, payment devices, door handles, among other high-touch areas.

To help increase safety for both customers and employees, we have modified our service offerings to include the addition of vehicle delivery (where available).

As part of the Clorox® Safer Today Alliance, we’re using research and best practices from the Cleveland Clinic and the CDC Foundation to create healthier public spaces and work environments.

Also, the employees working in dealership locations are following best practices recommended by various health authorities to help reduce risk during this Coronavirus outbreak.

These practices include:

  • Limiting the number of employees in a dealership
  • Requesting employees and customers not fully vaccinated wear face coverings
  • Maintaining a 6-foot distance between each other
  • Staying home if they are feeling ill
  • Frequently washing hands
  • Frequently sanitizing high touch surfaces with a disinfectant
  • Using disposable gloves when cleaning vehicles
  • Minimizing customer interaction at vehicle delivery
  • Ensuring local teams have supplies and resources needed

Additionally, all employees have been made aware that if they ever feel uncomfortable with working in a physical dealership, they are under absolutely no obligation to work.
